Hello!  Travel is open to Colombia, and they have removed the vaccine requirement!  If you are not vaccinated, you will need to show a covid test to enter.  Also, you no longer need a test to re-enter the US. Yay!

Retreat includes 3 nights of Ayahuasca ceremonies, a special healing session from the Elder, additional medicines, sweat lodge ceremony, ancestral massage therapy, meals, airport transfers, and 5 nights of accommodations.

Hosted at the Origen EcoResort, this magical space provides the perfect vessel for your transformation. Ceremony is held in our Maloka down by the river, encapsulated by trees, and guarded by the spirits of the panther that lives in the river, and the ancestors that reside in the giant rocks.  Feel the connection to all that is, understand just how everything is connected and beautiful. Sit by the fire, listen to the river as you watch the fireflies dance for you.

The donation for the retreat is $950, which includes THREE nights of medicine ceremonies, additional medicines, sweat lodge ceremony, therapy, airport transport, all meals and 5 nights of shared accommodation in double or triple cabins or rooms.

The Origen EcoResort features accommodations in our main lodge, or eco-glamping wood cabins.  Swim in the crystal clear water of our river, or our lounge by the pool, eat farm fresh fruits, meet Norman the amazing Ayahuasca helper dog.

Registration is available online, and all participants must register through our website, no exceptions.  You must in full for the retreat. The button to register is located above the description on this page.

Retreat price does not include transport to Colombia .  You will need to fly into MDE, Medellin International Airport.  Shared transport to the farm is included at scheduled times.

[/vc_column_text][vc_toggle title=”WHAT IF I AM TAKING ANTIDEPRESSANTS?” open=”true”]It can be very dangerous to mix ayahuasca with SSRI and other types of antidepressants. It can cause sometimes serious reactions up to stroke. On occasion, this class of drugs is also prescribed by doctors for other conditions, for example seizures or pain treatment. If you are unsure about whether your medications are considered dangerous please contact us.

We will give you a reduced dosage of ayahuasca for your entire retreat. The elders believe that even the smallest amount of medicine can be of benefit. You should be attending retreat for therapeutic and healing benefits. You may or may not experience “visions”, but this is not what brings the healing benefits. It is your responsibility as well to monitor your condition throughout the retreat, and be respectful of the dosage given to you by the elder.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”WHAT IF I HAVE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE?”]The Ayahuasca can affect one’s blood pressure, so we need to be very cautious. You must disclose your condition to us, even if your blood pressure is controlled by medication. Taking ayahuasca can result in a spike in your blood pressure resulting in serious medical conditions including stroke.

A light rain jacket comes in handy as will pants and a light sweater for ceremony as we hold ceremony outside.  The temperature stays about 78 degrees year round.  Also handy may be a headlamp or flashlight. Best to pack light.

We ask those coming to Colombia to bring only natural products, as our shower water gets recycled back to the garden.  We offer natural soap and shampoo.

Cancellation / Refund Policies and Information

UPDATED POLICIES Please review carefully!  Your acceptance and reservation for a retreat indicates that you have read and understand our cancellation policy and are in agreement.

THERE ARE NO CASH REFUNDS OR CREDIT CARD REIMBURSMENTS FOR ANY REASON.  THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS.  PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER IF YOU DO NOT AGREE.

If you cancel your participation in a retreat for any reason, the cancellation policy below will apply, with no exceptions.

IF YOU CANCEL THE RETREAT:

• 30 days or more prior to the start of the retreat you will receive the all 100% of the deposit for the retreat paid – toward another Retreat within 6 calendar months from the date of purchase.
• 29-21 days prior to the start of the retreat you will receive: the 50% deposit credit of the retreat paid – toward another Retreat within 6 months and will forfeit the remainder.
• 21 days or less prior to the start of the retreat no refunds or credits will be given.

IF WE CANCEL THE RETREAT:

In the unlikely event that Origen Sagrada must cancel a retreat due to government interference, weather, natural disaster, political upheaval, or wide spread sickness, we cannot give a refund but instead, we will be able to move any retreat to a future date. –  We also cannot compensate you for airfare or travel costs incurred. We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance to protect your investment and cover the risks involved with travel.

Please note that there will be no absolutely no refunds or discounts in the event that you arrive late, choose to leave early,  experience flight cancellations, travel delays or illness or widespread illness.  We wish we could compensate people for unforeseen circumstances (injury, family emergency, etc.), but we have incurred costs upon receiving reservations for our travel, the retreat centers and hotels amongst numerous other expenses.

Acceptance of this policy shall be deemed absolutely as a precondition to being allowed to enroll in any retreat. By making a donation and or registering for a retreat, the participant clearly states that they are over the age of eighteen, have read and understand this policy and agree to abide by the terms of this policy, no exceptions.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ORIGEN SAGRADA IS A NON-PROFIT SPIRITUAL ORGANIZATION. WE RELY ON DONATIONS FOR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES AND ARE IN GRATITUDE FOR EACH AND EVERY PARTICIPANT WHO CONTRIBUTES THEIR TIME, DONATIONS AND SERVICES.

I understand that I am over the age of 18 and that any and all payments made via credit card, PayPal.Com or both represent a commitment and binding contract to pay according to agreement, that participant agrees to pay all amounts due in full, and that in the event of cancellation of credit card payment and or filing of “charge back” claim or dispute with a credit card company or both, which results in a loss of income, fees, dues or donations of any kind to Origen Sagrada, that participant will cover this loss entirely, within 10 days by cash, certified check or money order. Furthermore, the participant agrees to reimburse entirely all legal and attorneys fees in relation to recovering any said losses resulting from charge backs and or reversals of transactions. The participant agrees to this as a precondition to being accepted into any Origen Sagrada Retreat.

ANY PARTICIPATION IN ANY POTENTIALLY RISKY ACTIVITIES IS AT THE PARTICIPANTS’ SOLE DISCRETION AND RESPONSIBILITY. THIS INCLUDES DURING PERSONAL TIME OUTSIDE OF THE REGULAR SCOPE AND PRACTICE OF RETREATS AND PROGRAMS.

As a participant in any program, I understand that these terms are binding, and as an agreement between the Origen Sagrada providers and myself is a pre-condition toward my participation in all courses, classes,retreats, apprenticeships, work/study etc. as previously noted in the offering web page related to this specific program and or programs, previously received and reviewed. I understand that all cancellation and refunds will be based on Origen Sagrada published Cancellation and Refund policy.
